New Look Soon

Summer is winding down. The school year is looming on the horizon. Festival season is rolling to a halt. Here in Greenville it’s actually been feeling almost like Fall the last couple of days.And we’ve been working on some exciting new stuff for AgapeFest.com – coming soon. Check back in the coming weeks for a new look, new resources, new photos, new everything! We’re already excited for the 2009 festival year and can’t wait to bring the new stuff out.

Have you looked through your photos from the festival yet? Why not head over to our flickr group and add them? They might even show up here on AgapeFest.com, and you’ll be sharing them with the rest of the group! Just click this link and sign up, it’s easy and fun.

We just finished our clean-up day. All of the staff here at AgapeFest would like to say a major “Thank You!” to everyone who came out and had fun with us. This year’s festival was definitely the best I’ve had the pleasure of working on.

There are some changes in store for agapefest.com in the coming months. One of the ones you can participate in right now is sending photos from AgapeFest 2008 to our Flickr group. Follow this link and submit your photos. If you don’t have a flickr account, it’s super-cool, fast, easy and free. When you join the AgapeFest group on flickr you can share your memories with all of us. And we’re already posting our own photos.

Thank you again for coming out. Thanks to the bands for stopping in (Relient K, David Crowder Band and Hawk Nelson were phenomenal). Thanks to the Battle of the Bands participants. And thank you so much to our Lord and Savior for keeping the rain away and encouraging us through this festival.

We hope to see you again in 2009 – and hopefully throughout the year here at agapefest.com!

Stages…Check

Mainstage is up. Stage 2 is up. Pavilions are wrapped. People are having fun. AgapeFest starts TOMORROW.

Answers:
April: Can I bring my dog if I clean up after her?

We’d love to play with your dog (well, those of us who are dog people), but some people don’t want to. Plus we can’t regulate who’s dogs are healthy and who’s aren’t. It’s just a mess. So we’d rather you don’t. Sorry!

Jason: If it rains alot will the show be canceled?

Nope. Rain or shine. If it gets real bad a band might have to cut their set short. But that doesn’t happen very often. It’s just one the risks we end up taking with an outdoor festival. It’s all part of the “fun”!
