Hey everyone. We just got a write-up in the State Journal-Register’s Heartland magazine. If you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to be on our side of the festival, this article is a pretty good representation.

During the weekend, 200 of the college’s 1,300 students worked at the festival, but that’s merely the culmination of a nearly year-round process. Students negotiated contracts with bands, like headliner Relient K, lined up vendors and caterers and launched public-relations blitzes.

AgapeFest is more than student-led: It’s student-invested.

A big thanks to Steven Spearie for spending so much time with us to figure out this article. He was great and put a lot of hard work into this story.
