Thank You & Good Luck, Joel!

Everyone at AgapeFest would like to thank Joel Goodman for all of his work and dedication to the festival over the last seven years. Joel attended Greenville College and was an outstanding Staff member. He went on to be the Director of AgapeFest his senior year, and ever since has been an avid supporter of the festival.

For the past several years, Joel has been an active Staff Advisor. He has worked continuously to develop and improve our web marketing program, motivated our staff members, and set a great example for all to follow. Joel has had an active part in making AgapeFest what it is today, and we are very grateful to have had him to work alongside us the last seven years.

Joel will be extremely missed in Greenville and around the college, but we are all very proud and excited for him and his new career opportunity in Chicago! Perhaps with his departure, the coffee supply will go back up- who knows?! ha. We love you Joel, and you will be missed tremendously.

May Jessica and yourself be successful in all your future endeavors.

  1. Aw, thanks guys! I will miss you all too.

  2. later dude. will miss ya buddy.

  3. I <3 Joel.

  4. I’m sure I’ll still be emailing you questions. :) Lucky you!

  5. Can’t believe how GC has changed; I went there in late 50′s. The change is simply stunning, exciting, amazing.

  6. I can’t believe this comes from good old GC which I attended in the late 50′s. The dorm girls (I was living at home in Greenville) could not wear jewelry, lipstick, and when engaged, they accepted a watch, not a diamond, because watches were practical! They couldn’t play cards but they could quote scripture! We had to attend daily chapel, we prayed at the beginning of every class. Ping-pong was the only game in the little tiny student union which I think was an old trailer? I have fond memories of very very good people, both professors and students, but I find your new students shockingly funny and very much alive and of this world.

  7. GC is definitely a different place now! There are still a lot of the roots still around, but none of the specifics you mentioned!

It’s still good ole’ Greenville, but minus Hogue Hall.

Hope you can make it out to the festival!
