More Bands
Wow. Tons of comments. We’ve got an update on a few more bands for you after the jump.
How about Nevertheless, The Send and Run Kid Run? They’ll be there. The slots are filling in. I’m hoping to have a complete lineup up on the Bands page here in the next couple of weeks.
I also want to thank you guys for the comments. The bands you recommend help us put together a great festival for everyone coming out. If you’re in a Youth Group, make sure you tell your youth pastor or leader to check out this site. And tell them you want to be at AgapeFest 2008.
Also. We have TONS of features in the works for this website including videos, festival photos that you can submit, great resources for youth leaders, and maybe even blogs from the people running the festival all year long. So definitely stay tuned.
If you haven’t subscribed to our news feed yet, click that big orange icon in the menu and subscribe in your favorite reader. A couple we use are Google Reader, Netvibes, and good ‘ol Firefox.
You guys are smart. By giving out a couple bands at a time, you’re making me check out the site every day! Geniusness!
Hey not to nit pick or anything put I would really like it if you at least gave an incomplete list of artists up and possible days cause I live in Tennessee and I am trying to plan a possible trip home for this and well that would help alot, thanks Ive been there the past two years and enjoy it alot keep doing a great job!

You guys should try to get either Chris Tomlin or Casting Crowns for the headliner on Friday. Or Leeland to headline on Friday, one of those three would be awesome.

been bring my student group for the last three years i have been in this area. we have brought at least 75 each year. great bands as usual, loved camp and newsboys last year. like who you have so far…how about a praise and worship band…tomlin or such. out of all the christian concerts i have been to, the best part by far that gets the whole crowd involved is when a band slows it down and does some familiar praise songs….the best by far. either way, we wil be back. hope for nice weather like last year!
How about posting new bands every week so we all can make plans. My brother & myself went last year and loved it so much. This year my parents and my two other brothers are planning on going too. We all cant wait. Also sounds like a good line up so far( even though FF5 wont be there) anyway THANKS for getting TobyMac.

Chris Tomlin would be absolutely amazing. And what about Day of Fire? I’m hoping Falling Up is coming back this year, too!

casting crowns,chris tomlin, leeland? come on you need to get a couple of bands that are actually good. get the wedding, the almost, haste the day, destroy the runner, inhale exhale, or falling up. i mean you guys spend a lot of money on this might as well spend it some good bands. And Hawk Nelson they’ve been here way too long. they’re not even good but anyway thanks for all ya do you guys are pretty cool.
Well, Andrew I would have to disagree with your comments on Hawk Neslon… but what about like getting Relient K, or the Almost, or Eleventy Seven….I’m so bummed that FF5 won’t be there, but hopefully we can get some new ones!!

so, so far theres nevertheless, run kid run, hawk nelson, david crowder on friday and john rueben, eleventyseven, storyside:b, the afters, dear future, stephanie smith, the send and toby mac saturday. That leaves 2 empty spots. Whoooooo

i travel to greenville to see upcoming bands like RED or Echoing Angels or Seven Places. OR if you wanted to go retro and bring back Bloodgood, the Altar Boys, Legend 7, Stryper, that would rock!
HawkNelson is sounding good for sure. They have been awesome the last couple of years. What happened to EleventySeven, are they going to play this year? I Agree with the idea of Anberline or The Almost. Also is Stellar Kart attending again?
I would have to agree with Jeb about Stryper seeing them in concert would be AWESOME! Hawk Nelson was GREAT last year I cant wait to see them this year. Also, TobyMac is going to ROCK!!!
If you guys have an open slot for main stage, get a hold of Fundamental Elemements. They played second stage last year and I’ve never seen that place so packed. They’ve got a great sound and should really be on main stage. Also, there was a band called the Elms there last year. They were good too, you should try and get them back. But most importantly, FUNDAMENTAL ELEMENTS DESERVE MAIN STAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!
@drew - wait! I was wrong. eleventyseven is coming! everyone just failed to tell me. I mean, it’s not like I help run the festival or anything. So yes. eleventyseven will be here this year.
Family Force five is like the big event at Agape, other then Hawk Nelson. It would be really disappointing if they weren’t there.
Guys, like I said before, FF5 can’t be at the show. They have a wedding that weekend.
