Lots of News!
Phew. It’s been a busy last couple of weeks here at AgapeFest HQ. We’ve got tons and tons of news for you today, but first I want to thank everyone for your comments! It’s been awesome to see the lists you’ve been leaving. We’ve taken a lot of what you’ve said to heart and booked as many bands as possible. Since we’re such a short festival, it’s tough to get EVERY band you want, but I think we’ve got an awesome mix this year.

Mark Roach, Everyday Sunday, Decyfer Down, Disciple, The Great Romance, Photoside Café, Fundamental Elements, Brooke Barrettsmith, Wavorly, Eleventyseven, Remedy Drive, LeCrae, The Afters, Hawk Nelson, Skillet, and tobyMac.
Yeah! Okay. So we’re not finished yet with the lineup–we’ve got a few spots left to fill–but that should give you a feel for who you can see at AF09.
Also. An announcement about our annual Battle of the Bands will be going out soon.

WHAT???? No FF5!?!?!?!?!? They are awesome! They were great when you had them two years ago. Now they are even better!!! I am disappointed! :o(

Sorry, they are on a tour with AP Magazine. You should write to their management and go on their website and TELL them that you want to see them play AgapeFest next year. We tried hard to get them! I promise!
=( No FF5, soo sad, but I’m really glad to see that HN, 11t7, The Afters, Disciple, and TobyMac will be their maybe, FF5 can come next time in 2010. I really like the line up so far, so thanks!!!
i think also fireflight should go and theres a band called Special D they are a great christian band how about them
no FF5 thats disapointing but it looks like a pretty exciting line up so far! The only thing that would make it even more amazing is This Beautiful republic, they are really talented and awsome to see live!

sense ff5 cant be their this time, how about trying to book them for agapefest 2010 now. it’s just a idea, and please try to get rush of fools and needtobreathe.
Demon Hunter would be a great addition if you can put them in one of the last spots.

I really think this band After Edmund should come to agape this year. They would be a great addition to the line up. Others to think about would be Phil Wickham, Leeland, or 33 miles. They are all sweet.
When will it be time to give Tobymac a break?

So I don’t know if you guys have ever done this because I have never been to Agape (yet, I plan to go this year), but I was wondering if there was any room for a worship band on the line-up? It is just a thought that I think should be considered.
It would be great if you could email me back if you would think about considering the idea.
If there is still time at all try to get Run Kid Run in there. i agree with booking FF5 for next year. they are amazing in concert.

Thanks Terry!, oh last year they had the David Crowder Band their. They are awesome in concert. So, David Crowder would be nice to see this year.
Please bring Capital Lights! Brand new to tooth and nail, and absolutely amazing! Would be a great addition to a great line up!
You guys need to bring back The Wedding! Their new EP is incredible and they ALWAYS put on a fantastic show! THE WED-DING! THE WED-DING! THE WED-DING! THE WED-DING!
This Beautiful Republic, House of Heroes, The Rocket Summer or Run Kid Run would be amazing. But the line up looks really good so far.

oh, a few other amazing bands are superchick and i know they’re like impossible to get, but FM Static is amazing….
yeah i agree with derek As I lay dying is a really good band to try to get. along with david crowder band.
I agree with austin and derek as i lay dying is sick!!!! you should get some harder bands to even out hawk nelson and the afters. perhaps oh,sleeper or inhale/exhale

How about Daniel Amos. Ok, they may be too old to hold their instruments anymore (kidding), but they do play Cornerstone — and some of us Dads and youth pastors would love to see them. … or Lost Dogs etc.
