BOB2013

Battle of the Bands is coming up and Agapefest will soon be taking entires! To enter Battle of the Bands for AgapeFest 2013 email Caleb Loeppky at artistrelations@agapefest.com. In the email Include: subject line “BOB entry”, your band name, three songs with lyrics, and a brief bio. Then you MUST pay the entry fee ($25) at www.greenville.edu/marketplace! (Click on the Agapefest link on the right to pay correctly.) If you do not pay this entry fee your band will not be considered for the Battle of the Bands. Once we receive your submission and payment your band will be reviewed and you will get an email after March 18th.

Deadline for submission is March 18th, late submissions will not be excepted. If your band is asked to move on to the next round you must be available all day on April 6th. From the submissions, a board of Agape judges will choose the five they believe best suit the festival and will compete for the top two positions. The best score of the two will be rewarded the coveted time slot on Saturday morning’s main stage schedule. That’s right—the winners earn the chance to play on the very stage that Owl City, Family Force 5, & Hawk Nelson, (to name a few, of course) are playing on! The band that scores second will earn time on Saturday’s second stage schedule.

Battle of the Bands will be held on Saturday April 6th. Load in will start around 9 in the morning and the acts will run from 11 until 4 in the afternoon. Look below for a list of the Battle of the Bands Official rules.
